Higher Education Academy Annual Conference 2008 Session submissions are open for the Higher Education Academy 2008 Annual Conference "Transforming the student experience", taking place 1-3 July 2008 at the Harrogate International Centre, Harrogate. Call for session submissions Submissions are being called for under the following categories: Papers Paper presentations are 30 minutes and should aim to give a brief summary of a piece of research or a project, either completed or still in progress. The presentation should last a maximum of 20 minutes allowing the audience opportunity for commentary and questions in the remaining 10 minutes. Workshops Workshops are 75 minutes and must be activity-based and should involve participation from the audience with presenters spending five minutes setting up the activity and then exploring with participants the outcomes of the activity or activities, at appropriate points in the workshop.
