A program that gained fame for its success in dealing with the homeless
in Italy could take root on a historic farm in Central Saanich.

Richard LeBlanc sees it as a way to help the burgeoning number of
homeless people in Victoria.

The Island man has been working for years to find the right spot for a
"therapeutic work community," a large piece of land where homeless men
and women can live, receive counselling and work. He's found it at the
Woodwynn Farm, one of the largest pieces of agricultural land on the
Saanich Peninsula.
