The Department of Radiology, University of Aberdeen, UK requires a Research Technician to work on projects using advanced imaging techniques to understand brain networks and their functions. You will participate in all aspects of data management and analysis related to projects, including analysis of fMRI, MRI, DTI, EEG, and behavioural data, programming fMRI and EEG experiments, managing and archiving data and assistance with manuscript preparation.

This is a challenging post and you must have a good first degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, or related fields or demonstrate the appropriate skills and capabilities. This position, jointly funded by SINAPSE (http://www.dcn.ed.ac.uk/bic/sinapse/sinapse.asp) and the Department of Radiology, is available for 12 months in the first instance. Salary will be paid in the range of £23,329 - £26,257 per annum, with placement according to qualifications and experience.
