Postdoctoral Researchers in fMRI: Cognitive/Systems Neuroscience of Pheromones, Emotion, and Olfaction

Currently hiring four researchers at the Postdoctoral Fellow, Senior Research Associate, or Research Assistant Professor level, to work on neural connectivity of pheromones, and the different networks associated with conconsciously versus unconsciously-mediated emotions. Dynamic and well-funded laboratory currently has equipment capabilities in 1.5, 3, and 4T fMRI, near-infrared spectroscopy/optical tomography (NIRS), olfactometry, GC-MS,HPLC, 64-channel EEG, eye-tracking, and laboratory as well as ambulatory measurement ofEKG , respiration, blood pressure, EMG, SCR, etc. A state-of-the-art Neuroimaging Center with additional dedicated research 3T fMRI capabilities has already been funded by NSF for opening within the next 9 months. The candidate should be experienced in fMRI acquisition and analysis, ideally with a background in MR-physics, experimental psychology, or neuroscience, and should have a demonstrated record of productivity. An ideal candidate would also have experience with cognitive neuroscience, olfaction or emotion research, nonlinear modeling, NIRS, or EEG. Renewable three-year contract; salary commensurate with qualifications/experience. Possibility for permanent faculty position within the Neuroimaging Center and close collaboration with Brookhaven National Laboratories, Harvard Medical School, Courant Institute (NYU), and Columbia University.  Please send cover letter, cv, and contact information for three references to:  Dr. LR Mujica-Parodi:[log in to unmask]
