Justwanted to add that colleagues in the FE sector are also warmly invited to register for access to the forum (as well as those in the HE sector). http://www.jigg.ac.uk/ All other areas of JIGG are open access (inc. news, resources and hopefully an events calendar soon). In the meantime, colleagues in the HE sector might be interested to know that the JISC Information Governance Gateway (JIGG) does have a records management discussion forum http://www.jigg.ac.uk/ (though you do need to register first)

Plus, on the back of yesterday' s mammoth email discussion I' m trying to find time to summarise/link to this on my RMFuturewatch blog http://rmfuturewatch.blogspot.com/ to enable those who are interested to continue the debate, but without filling up the inboxes of those who are not

Cheers

Jean

An interesting thought.

I shall speak with colleagues to consider this further. Perhaps we could trawl these discussionsand classify them, using a storage medium which would support a web 2.0 approach

Perhaps this calls for some community forums on the RMS-UK website? Or maybe colleagues are using other forums elsewhere? This thread has proved thoroughly engaging, but i've ended copying the whole thing into MS Word. Jen
