16.00 - Round table discussion

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together very active science communicators from three areas of “big science” – particle physics, nuclear physics, and astronomy and have them share their experiences in engaging the public.  This will allow us to take stock of what has been done before, and talk about new ideas for public engagement in the future.  There will be plenty of time for discussion and networking at this event.

If you would like to make a short (5 minute) presentation on your own experiences or ideas for outreach activities then please contact David Jenkins.  Registration is not necessary but it would be helpful if you could indicate your interest in attending, especially if you will come for lunch so we can plan the catering!

Please respond to David Jenkins ([log in to unmask]).

This meeting is sponsored by the Nuclear Physics group of the Institute of Physics.
