The Faculty of Art & Design is seeking to recruit, for the second semester of the current academic year (2007-2008), faculty/staff for the following positions:
 

Part time Lecturer (MA Credential) in Interior Design/Architectural Design with a teaching experience in Construction Technology Courses.
 

Part time Lecturer (MA Credential) in Fashion Design with a teaching experience in Garment Construction.
 

Part time Lecturer (MA Credential) in Graphic Design with a teaching experience in Graphic Design Software. 
 

Studio and Workshop Technician with Experience in servicing and maintaining workshops and studios machinery (e.g.: Sewing machines, woodworking machinery) and a good knowledge of the health and safety issues involved in the use of  machinery. Reasonable conversational English skills are also required.

I would like to bring to your attention that there is a new professorship established at Telemark University College. The professorship is* *in* C**ultural Production and Aesthetic Practices*. It is associated with a doctoral degree programme in cultural studies. The programme has a multidisciplinary profile and two fields of specialisation: /Cultural understanding and cultural policy /and /cultural production and aesthetic practices./ The doctoral programme in cultural studies is under development, and will be a part of the humanities and cultural studies portfolio at Telemark University College. The programme is rooted in the art and cultural environments at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Bø and the Faculty of Art, Folk Culture and Teacher Education in Notodden. Two professorships are being announced, each of which will be associated with one of the fields of specialisation in the doctoral programme, and it is assumed that those who are appointed to these positions will cooperate in the development of the doctoral programme.
