Hi Glenn

 

We were asked to work on the wards last year ( I say asked 'loosely' as
it actually became compulsory), however those nurses with medical
history ie: musculoskeletal were exempt.  As for updates HR said that if
you were not confident to work as a trained nurse on the ward you could
go on as an HCA or help with housekeeping. I didn't go as I was exempt
however a colleague did go but was allowed to work office hours and not
shifts.
