Health Visitors
Well, as an ex health visitor , I tend to collaborate with them quite often, possibly because I am so familiar with the role.
It is often concerning employees returning from maternity leave, who may have ongoing problems, or suffered severe post natal depression. I have also worked with them where health problems with their children have affected their work attendance and ability.
They have easier access to the employees GP than I do, and will often act as an advocate for the employee and between us we get the desired result.
Same applies to DN's .
Once you make that inital contact, it's amazing how the links develop and open up.
Very rare to get collaboration initiated the other way though...them to us!!

I would be interested to know how many OHNs/OHAs work with District Nurses or Health Visitors and in what capacity.

Thanks
