Zambia has just finally approved the direct entry midwifery training. I am inteneding to open a direct midwifery training school In Lusaka Zambia in July 2007. I am interested in finding out if there is any one who knows suppliers of midwfiery models or training in equipement. Please forward me any address. I would greatly appreciate it.

On behalf of the ICM REsearch Standing committee and the SPPC, I would like to say a thank you to all of you who have peer reviewed for the ICM Conference.

Between you, you have refereed research based abstracts for 458 concurrent presentations, 18 workshops and 16 symposia.  The ICM Research Advisory Network refereed 95% of all abstracts sent to you. So far there have been 1309 registrations the majority from the UK, Australia and Japan with smaller numbers from USA, NZ, Canada and India. The numbers from developing countries were smaller and requests from midwives from developing countries should be sent to the ICM Secretary General for the Sponsor a Midwife programme.

I look forward to seeing you in Glasgow next year.
