This used to be my parish church. I haven't seen it since Katrina, but judging by the pictures, and considering the fact that it sits on a storm drainage canal, I'm assuming it was badly damaged. There were wonderful stained glass windows showing scenes from the life of St Edward. I don't see them...
BTW, most of New Orleans moved either to Metairie or north of Lake Pontchartrain.
