medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

A friend of mine is working with some Spanish church consagration acts
which have a chronological system that scapes him (and me too):

"Kalendas Ianuarii : XVIIII anno solari cicli. concurrente II. scdo. :
XVIIII cicli. Epacte XI. Luna XX. Anni Ab Incarnatione"

"II nonas Maii, anno Incarnationis Domini DCCCLXLVIIII, secunda feria
deducebat annum ab Lunae cursum III, luna XI, consacratum est templus
"

I wonder if any of you knows of specific bibliography concerning solar
and lunar cycles

Thanks in advance for any help!
