The Scottish Museums Council (SMC) is the lead body for funding, development and advocacy of our 340 museums and galleries in Scotland Scottish Emigration Museum Project Development Manager Salary £24,942 - £28,422 per annum Initial contract to March 2009 SMC is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to manage and co-ordinate the development of a new and exciting on-line collection of Scots migration related resources. The Scottish Emigration Museum will offer a passionate account of the emigration experience of Scots and their impacts on the development of key diaspora partner countries such as New Zealand, America, Canada and Australia. Your responsibilities will include producing the project plan, developing and managing a proactive fundraising campaign and identifying content within museums, libraries and archives in Scotland and key diaspora partner countries.
