italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

I am a part-time PhD student at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Lancaster</st1:City></st1:place> University, researching Italian neorealist literature.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></div>  <div><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></div>  <div><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">I am wondering what connections there may be, in terms of influence and shared characteristics, between Fascist memoirs from the 1930s and Resistance memoirs 1945-1948. Of course, much work has been carried out on the link between pre- and post-war cinema and novels, with heated debate as to whether 1945 was really the break with the past that had been hoped for.
 But I have not found anything specifically on memoirs.
