Durham University Department of Earth Sciences Reader or Senior Lecturer in Geoscience (non-fixed term) Salary: £42,791 - £44,074 The Department of Earth Sciences seeks a Geoscientist with an international reputation to enhance its growing strength in quantitative Earth Sciences. Preference will be given to individuals whose expertise complements existing research strengths in the Department, including those areas relevant to future needs in energy and mineral resources and/or natural hazards and risks, including climate change. A track record in obtaining research funding is essential. You will be expected to undertake research of the highest international quality and to nurture and possibly lead interdisciplinary research collaborations across Durham and external to the University. You will also be expected to teach on undergraduate courses and be involved in the supervision and training of postgraduate students.
