Dear Galician Studies, I am delighted to forward on calls for papers in Galician and English for the IX Congreso da Asociación Internacional de Estudos Galegos (AIEG), to be held in Santiago de Compostela, Vigo and A Coruña, 13–17 July 2009. As a member of the Executive Committee of the AIEG, I can speak for the entire organisation when I say that we expect great things from this gathering which sees the conference return to Galicia.
