the nick drake connection: Ledger's affinity for English singer-songwriter Nick Drake <http://www.nme.com/artists/nick-drake> , who died in 1974 of a drug overdose at the age of 26, has also come to light. In an interview last year at the Venice Film Festival, Ledger said that he was "obsessed with (Drake's) story and his music". Ledger recently shot and edited a music video for the Drake song 'Black Eyed Dog' in which Ledger is seen drowning himself in a bathtub.
