Dear Richard,

I think the subject of reasoned opinions has come up before. These are
documents sent directly to the authority concerned and, as far as I can
tell, are only published if the recipient wants to make them available
to the public. It may be worth having a look on City of Westminster
Planning Dept pages at
http://www3.westminster.gov.uk/planningpublications/ and using the
contact given there to see if they can provide a copy of the Pimlico
opinion. Similarly contact Ipswich Borough Council
http://www.ipswich.gov.uk/

Hope this helps

Subject: Reasoned Opinions

Dear Euro talk

Can anyone tell me how I can get hold of Commission Reasoned Opinions?

I am trying to get hold of two that were issued by the Commission in
2000 to the UK relating to the provison of community facilities in
Ipswich and the redevelopment of Pimlico school in London

I have found the press release which states that Reasoned Opinions were
to be sent, but would appreciate some advice as to where they may be
found

Thank you
