C A L L F O R P A P E R S =============================== The 2008 International Conference on Communications in Computing CIC'08 Date and Location: July 14-17, 2008, Las Vegas, USA You are invited to submit a full paper for consideration. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings/book. SCOPE: Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: + Networking and Communications Track: - Communication Networks for computing - Communication protocols for computing - Mobile systems - Wireless and optical networks - Wireless sensor networks - Computing network management - Internet, web-based computing, e-Commerce, and Telecommunications - Network security in distributed applications - Ubiquitous systems + Parallel and Distributed Systems Track: - Communications in high performance computing - Parallel and distributed algorithms - Communications in new computational paradigms (e.g. optical-, nano-, bio-computing) - Parallel, distributed, grid, peer-to-peer and cluster-based Computing - Interconnection networks - Computation and communication performance models - Modeling and simulation of high performance systems - Scalable and interoperable systems and associated standards - Software systems (e.g. operating system support, middleware, tools) - Reliability and fault tolerance in embedded and real-time Systems SUBMISSION OF PAPERS: Prospective authors are invited to submit their full paper (about 5 to 7 pages - single space, font size of 10 to 12) to Dr. Brian d'Auriol ([log in to unmask]) and/or to Prof. H. R. Arabnia ([log in to unmask]) by Feb. 25, 2008. email submissions in MS Doc or PDF formats are preferable. All reasonable typesetting formats are acceptable (later, the authors of accepted papers will be asked to follow a particular typesetting format to prepare their papers for publication.) The length of the Camera-Ready papers (if accepted) will be limited to 7 (IEEE style) pages. Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. The first page of the draft paper should include: title of the paper, name, affiliation, postal address, and email address of each author as well as the name of the conference the paper is being submitted to (ie, CIC'08). The first page should also identify the name of the Contact Author and a maximum of 5 topical keywords that would best represent the content of the paper. All submissions received as per the above instructions will be evaluated by the CIC'08 Technical Program Committee and at least two reviews will be returned to the authors. Papers will be evaluated for technical merit, contribution, clarity, novelity and relevance to the conference. The Camera-Ready papers will/may be reviewed by one person for compliance with required changes.
