Can I ask what steps you take to get close to 24 x 7 x 365 reliable access to Blackboard for your students? 

Do you have duplicate mirrored sytems? 
Do you have dedicated f/t technical staff working at the most fundamental level on server maintenance? 
What do you do if the system goes down outside normal working hours?
