Visit to the British Film Institute Library, London 2 nd April
10.30-12.30  

From humble beginnings as a small collection of books on an office shelf
to the world's largest collection of moving image materials, the bfi
National Library has a rich and fascinating history. 

The visit will cover the history of the Library, collections and
acquisition policies, cataloguing and indexing and information services,
and demonstrations of Databases. 

It will also include displays of specially selected material from some
of the special collections, rare books, vintage periodicals and scripts.
