STATISTICS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH SURVEILLANCE

A one-day conference organised by the Open University Statistics Group

WEDNESDAY 21st MAY 2008 at the OPEN UNIVERSITY, MILTON KEYNES

This conference will focus on the statistical methods used in a broad
range of public health applications, including syndromic surveillance,
outbreak detection, pharmacovigilance, institutional performance,
monitoring of interventions. Speakers include Marianne Frisen
(Goteborg), Leo Held (Zurich), David Spiegelhalter (Cambridge), Chris
Robertson (Strathclyde), Stephen Evans and David Prieto (London School
of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), Simon Cauchemez (Imperial), Heather
Whitaker and Mounia Hocine (Open University). We welcome poster
presentations.
