Our client, a world-leading pharmaceutical company based in Surrey (UK) is currently seeking a senior statistician for a 12 month contract to start as soon as possible. You will be a key member of the biostatistics and data management department working in a variety of therapeutic areas providing statistical support and advice. This includes calculating sample sizes, generating randomization schedules, writing the statistical section of clinical trial protocols and statistical analysis plans, validating SAS programs, performing statistical analysis, interpreting results and co-authoring study reports. You will also respond to ad-hoc requests regarding statistical issues; participate in departmental process improvement initiatives and providing advice and input to clinical development plans, in-licensing opportunities and new product research. As a minimum, an MSc and at least 5 years' experience within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry are required.
