At InverclydeLibraries we have been asked to catalogue a
substantial collection of adult literacy and numeracy books for use by both
tutors and students. The books will be a distinct collection but will be kept
on the open shelves in our reference library. I'd like to know how other
libraries around the country organise their own adult literacy collections:
Do you use Dewey/UDC/LC?
Have you developed your own classification/shelf
arrangement? If so, could you send me details please?
Many thanks in advance for your help with this matter.
Apologies for cross-posting.
