University of Bamberg, Germany, Lecturer in English Language ('Lektor/in')
Applications are invited for the above full position (18 teaching
hours per week) with employment commencing on 1 April, 2008. The
position is offered for a period of two years and is remunerated on
the Bavarian TVL salary scale (TVL 13). Candidates have to be native
speakers of English, should ideally have a degree in linguistics (or a
similar subject) and a high level of proficiency in German. Experience
of TEFL is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to
give general language classes (based on Cambridge Proficiency),
writing courses, lectures on Cultural Studies and phonetics/phonology.
