ICEG 2008

4th International Conference on e-Government

RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia

23-24 October 2008

Hello

This is the Second call for papers for the 4th International Conference on e-Government, being held at the RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, on the 23-24 October 2008.

The International Conference on e-Government (ICEG 2008) invites researchers, practitioners and academics to present their research findings, work in progress and conceptual advances in any branch of e-Government. The conference provides an opportunity for people with like-minded and different perspectives to come together to gain an understanding of real-world e-government issues and to discuss ways to put research into practice.  To achieve this goal, we are inviting researchers and practitioners from around the world to submit their research findings and new ideas, and for practitioners to demonstrate actual products and applications.

In its 4th year, the 2008 conference is being held at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. RMIT University is one of Australia’s leading educational institutions, with a commitment to applied education, training and research. Since its establishment in 1887, RMIT has built a worldwide reputation for excellence in vocational and technical education, as well as in research and specialist programs.  RMIT is a university that fosters connections between education and industry, and between individual ambition and opportunity. As a founding member of the Australian Technology Network (ATN), RMIT shares a heritage of working with industry and has a united vision to provide career-driven education for tomorrow’s leaders, and for people who have an interest in and a commitment to contributing to the economic, cultural and social future of their communities.
