We have just gone over to Blackboard’s ASP (hosted) service and I anticipate that I will be able to manage our Enterprise 7:2 system single-handedly with their occasional support server side. We enrol all our students (about 10,000 users each year) and currently have about 2000 active users. I am full time but also responsible for all BB training and ILT support.

This is not ideal. We really need another person trained as an administrator. There are plenty of teachers who can manage their own courses but no one else understands our automatic enrolment procedures or could manage the end of year rollover……

Hello

 

I am trying to gauge the level of support required for a successful BB installation.

Would anyone be willing to share (on or of list) the team structure and titles that make up their own VLE team?

If possible, an idea of users within the system and BB version number please?

I am creating a report for SMT and would like an idea what / how many people that make a successful team.
