Hi. you should get a copy of Mrs. Walker’s Bone book of east African
Mammals. It is great for this kind of stuff. Best

Subject: [ZOOARCH] elephant
Hello
I have posted a couple of photos on the Bones Commons
website (zooarch attachment section) of some elephant bones that have recently
been recovered from a coastal site in Somerset. I haven't seen the bones but
have been asked to determine what skeletal elements are represented from these
photos. Any ideas? I think the bones are a distal radius (image 1),
proximal radius and distal humerus (image 2) but I'm not too familiar with
elephant anatomy so any help gratefully received.
