Grade 6 and 7   - £23,692 - £32,796pa 

We are seeking an experienced researcher to join the UKERC Demand Reduction
theme.  This post offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant
contribution to the Lower Carbon Futures programme, which is part of the
Environmental Change Institute, in OUCE.  You will be required to develop
research in the transport area, focussing on the identification and
evaluation of packages of policies required to achieve various carbon
dioxide reduction targets.  You will need a Masters with at least 2 years
professional experience and ideally have a background in transport, energy
and/or environment, possibly from a technical, economic or behavioural
discipline. You may have a background in analysis of, for example,
socio-economic assessment, techno-economic modelling, policy analysis,
transport policy and/or behavioural analysis and modelling.

The post is full-time until the end of April 2009, with extension likely but
not guaranteed, and based at the Oxford University Centre for the
Environment (OUCE), South Parks Road, Oxford, OX12 3QY.
