Transport Studies Group Department of Civil and Building Engineering Loughborough University -------------------------- Applications are invited for an EPSRC-and-Industry funded PhD studentship in collaboration with JMP Consulting. The subject area is likely to be public transport/accessibility - the detail of the project will be developed by the successful candidate. The student will jointly be supervised by Dr. Mohammed Quddus and Dr Marcus Enoch at Loughborough University (in the 5* rated Department of Civil and Building Engineering) and will have a mentor from JMP Consulting (www.jmp.co.uk). There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to undertake some of the work directly with JMP. Fees will be paid at the UK/EU student rate, in addition to a tax free stipend for living expenses (£15,600 per year - which is likely to be increased over time). Applicants should have a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., social science, geography, engineering, or statistics).
