Hi Stephen Because of the confusion in the way people have used the information system to date, we publish SMPSize=1 (actually it's 4 (well, 2x2 cores)), and GlueHostMainMemoryRAMSize=2G (actually it's 8). ATLAS production through LEXOR specifies a JDL with GlueHostMainMemoryRAMSize>XXX, _not_ GlueHostMainMemoryRAMSize/ SMPSize > XXX, so this confusion seems widespread. Edinburgh genuinely do only have 1 single core CPU per box (oldest nodes on the UK grid, prehaps?). Durham have 2G dual core machines, so SMPSize=2, GlueHostMainMemoryRAMSize=2G is honest - but note that they have got into trouble with large memory ATLAS jobs arriving. For the moment it seems to me that what Glasgow are doing ensures that the right answer is given in both the correct and incorrect JDL expressions, so I'm not going to change that.
