Suggestions for either are welcome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOVEMBER RAS MEETINGS - FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9 November's Specialist Discussion Meetings are: "Science with the James Webb Space Telescope and MIRI" "A year of observations with Hinode and STEREO: solar magnetic energy and its influence on the near-Earth environment" in the lecture theatres of the Geological Society and the Society of Antiquaries (both in Burlington House, Piccadilly), respectively, from 10:30-15:30. The 2008 RAS National Astronomy Meeting will be held at Queen's University Belfast, 31 March to 4 April 2008. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- RAS JOBS LIST The RAS has offered a jobs list since 2002. There are over 1000 active members to this list, so it is worth advertising your vacancies on the list - and this is FREE.
