Dear List

I'm now putting together the listings for BBC Focus magazine's January issue
(goes on sale 20 December).

If you have an event aimed at the general public that takes place between
Christmas and the end of January, and you'd like it to be listed (free!)
please let me have details by next Monday (November 12th).

As usual, I would like full details, including date, time, full address of
the venue (including postcode), telephone number and website that we can
publish, and ticket prices. I also need as much detail as you have about
what people will see/hear/learn, who is speaking, etc. But no photos,
somebody else will look for those later.

If you have an exhibition opening or closing in the same period, that will
be equally welcome.

I can't guarantee to include you in the final copy, but the earlier you get
me everything I need, the better your chances.

I hope that list members don't mind me posting these monthly reminders, I
like to think the listings are a useful way of attracting a wider public to
your events and exhibitions.

cheers
