A fish tormented by light
will scurry amongst the weeds
wonder and will at what the sparkle
brings, the lights remit gathers
it's dorsal fin and sings
the high notes are lost in heady refraction
soporific dance decline
depth is neither relative
to the seagulls dancing off the stern
or the darkening drear of seaweed
balanced bow-wards
