‘A bigger ‘bang’ for the Welsh buck’ - Andrew Davies unveils first ‘One Wales’ budget.
Mr Davies told Assembly Members: This budget - the first since the historic One Wales agreement - provides the necessary investment to make public services in Wales amongst the best. More than £36 million of extra investment over three years in the Welsh language, sport and the arts, including implementing the recommendations of the Stephens Review.

Extra funding boost for Welsh heritage
Heritage Minister, Rhodri Glyn Thomas today (Wednesday 7 November) unveiled an additional £36 million over the next three years to support One Wales commitments in the Heritage portfolio. But the Minister said that the increase in funding comes with strings attached in order to get the most out of the extra cash.
