Television News, Young People and Politics: Generation Disconnected?

A Brunel University conference organised in conjunction with the BFI and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
Friday 7th December - Sunday 9th December 2007
Location: BFI Southbank, Waterloo, London

This conference aims to bring together broadcasters, media activists, academics, young people and NGOs working with young people to discuss how young people and politics are represented on television news in an era of disconnection from mainstream formal politics.

The conference also aims to bring broadcasters together with young people to work on a Charter For Young People's News and Information Rights.
