There was a good BMJ article claiming that stains cause LVF as well as peripheral neuropathy , both of which would probably be blamed on the condition for which the statin was given. I think cholesterol targets are madly low at the moment and I do not trust the evidence as statins have too much financial value to drug companies.

But rosuva is definitely a statin, (and the most potent one) so should benefit from a class effect by default.  Unlike ezetimibe.

Remember the massive pharma- and media-driven evidence-war when it came out?
With "evidence" driven by $billion marketing and Stock Exchange deals, perhaps all that we should do is be alert to individual patient ADRs and do N-of-1 re-challenges to check them out - and Yellow-card them.
