We find ourselves in a difficult situation where our income is bound
to fall and we shall be obliged to work increasingly hard at
maintaining QOF data (which most GPs do not find satisfying) to reduce
the amount of that fall.

the old truism: "if you can keep your head when all around are losing
theirs, you don't understand the seriousness of the situation".
