Photogrammetrist - Permanent or Long Contract - £Very Neg - Start ASAP - Central London My prestigious client, who is a market leader in their specialist field, is looking to appoint an experienced Photogrammetrist to join their team. The selected candidate will be required to analyse, measure and interpret photographic images in order to gain information about a range of three- dimensional objects. This information will be used in the production of maps and cartographic information. You may be required to undertake some initial work on site using a photogrammetric plotting instrument or a digital photogrammetric workstation (DPW) to take measurements although the majority of the work will be office based, digitising the information in order to produce computer-aided design (CAD) images and amended photographs. Typical work activities include; planning and undertaking photogrammetric projects for architectural and surveying professionals, operating stereoscopic viewing instruments and workstations to manipulate images in order to produce fully corrected perspective views and using specialist software to produce graphic and accessible images for the end user. In addition, the selected candidate will be required to take the lead in building an onshore (UK) capacity for my Client which will involve liaising with their current offshore provider to ensure that all requirements are met. The ideal candidate will possess previous Photogrammety experience and possess an interest in Architecture and the built environment.
