Ruth Dawson (Hawaii/IGRS):
German Studies, Cultural Studies, The Eighteenth Century: Unpacking Catherine the Great
Ruth Dawson is a Visiting Fellow at the IGRS from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she is Professor of Women's Studies. Her research combines feminist analysis of literature and history, focusing in particular on the representation of Empress Catherine the Great of Russia during her lifetime and afterwards.
