Dear Katey,

I think that the British Museum did something using dolls and plaster of paris bandages to look at mummification.

Do something on hierogylphics using reed pens.

Making jewellery using fimo or quick drying clay as a replacement for faience.

Re-create the ancient Egyptian board game of Senet.

Anything else I think of I'll let you know.

Subject: Egyptian Activities

Hello all.

I have been asked to go into a classroom to do a handling session on Egyptian life. Does anyone have any ideas for activities I can do with the group beyond the objects themselves……..

Thanks in advance.
