OK . . . but even if it is that simple, wouldn’t a great deal depend on the
care with which the questions are defined and articulated? . . . it’s certainly
easy enough to muse about “the meaning of life” but that is as likely to lead
to adolescent musing as it is to profundity . . . though i recognize that what
we call profundity may end up being nothing more than a particularly devious
kind of adolescent musing
