Emma
sorry for replying on list but can't find your email address for some reason!!Have you thought about Bond Pearce - Tony Askham is one of their partners and they are well used to working with HEIs and the DDA so am sure they will know all aspects of the DED. I must add this isn't a recommendation but just a suggestion for someone to approach. His email is [log in to unmask]  or phone 02380632211

Hope you are well

Dear All,  Suggest a word with  Dr Ossie Stuart email: [log in to unmask] .  He works with Government, the DRC, HEIs, and others  organisations .  As well as knowing the legislation inside out, as an ex-academic he also understands academic environments very well.

Dear all

Does anyone have any recommendations (off list if preferable) for lawyers who have provided training or in-house legal briefings regarding the Disability Equality Duty and our legislative requirements?  If anyone has worked with an individual or firm that they would recommend, who may have specialist knowledge about interpreting the legislation more specifically in the teaching and learning environment, please let me know.

Many thanks

Emma
