Skill's Information and Policy Networks for Providers of Higher Education are forums for sharing good practice, networking and discussing issues arising from working with disabled students. Skill is looking to re-establish the network in London and the South East.
At a meeting of the London DSA Forum yesterday, a number of HEI staff expressed an interest in the Network being re-established and suggested that the date for the first meeting should be in late January / early February 2008.
If you work at an HEI in London or the South East and would be interested in attending network meetings, please let Alice at Skill know. The meetings would be held at institutions on a rotating basis - if you might be able to hold the first meeting at your institution, please let Alice know.

When confirmed, the time, date, location and agenda for the network meeting will be posted on dis-forum. Please email Alice with suggestions for agenda items. The agenda is likely to include issues around centralisation of the Student Loans Company and DSA.

Details of the other regional networks are available on Skill's website http://www.skill.org.uk/page.aspx?c=62&p=151
