I raised this subject a short time ago, but would welcome some replies from
Welsh Authorities if possible, though all replies are welcome.
Unfortunately I have deleted those I received off-listlast time so would
welcome these again.

I am referring to requests that relate to persons who have gone
missing, often quite a long time ago. A recent one quoted 63 different
permutations of their name. We search all our systems, but wonder if others
limit it to Council Tax and electoral roll ? Many departments are
complaining about the time needed to make these searches and these requests
are becoming more frequent. Do all LA's receive them or are they targetted
to areas where they think the person may be ?

Thanks for any feedback on this.
