Audacity – free software – is quite
a useful program for sound recording. The Microsoft sound recorder has a time
limit of 60 seconds.

Is there a way to record
the speech of a patient for use with a text to speech VOCA?
I have a client with a
progressive dysarthria who would like to record her speech now to use at a
later date with a VOCA without being restricted to pre-stored phrases.
