Bill Jackson doesn't work there anymore, but Peter Mohr may well be able
to help out.

To Ruth:

Many thanks; if you think your ceramic piece might vaguely be
pharmaceutical, you may get a 'steer' from the University of Manchester
Medical School Museum. Bill Jackson certainly used to work there, whom I

know. He is the author of the Shire Book "The Victorian Chemist and
Druggist" and has an amazing personal collection of this sort of thing.
He may have retired now, as the museum's website refers one to Dr Peter
Mohr.

Hope this helps
