(ok, maybe I should know, but I don't find time to keep up properly) Seems to me that the two reasons to publish with a publisher instead of self-publishing are firstly for distribution (if they bother!) and secondly because it might help you get reviews. But if they don't do either then you might as well self-publish. I received an invitation to send a MS of 60-80 pages for the Tampa Review competition. (University of Tampa, Florida) They don't say where they heard of me. Anyone else here get one? Know if it's worth the trouble?
