The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking candidates for a full-time position in VISUAL CULTURE STUDIES beginning in the academic year 2008-2009. The appointment may be made at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor and with a salary commensurate to the candidate=92s qualifications. The home department of the successful applicant will be determined according to their area of specialization and may involve a joint appointment.
 
Applicants should have strong records of achievement in scholarship and/or creative practice relative to their experience. Candidates=92 work may focus on any aspect of Visual Culture, but must demonstrate a serious commitment to interdisciplinary research.
