MLA North East The maximum fee £8,000 There are many case studies about positive activities and programmes for children in libraries. However, there is limited robust, up-to- date evidence on the impact that libraries have on children and young people’s learning. MLA North East wishes to commission a consultant (s) to carry out research, develop the regional evidence base, and produce a report which demonstrates the strength and impact libraries in the North East have on children and young people’s learning. The findings will be used to establish regional MLA sector priorities and actions, and enable the influencing, development and implementation of policy for children and young people with our strategic partners.
